My name is Erin Dore and I own and run Petal Head Farm & Florist located in Gympie, Queensland. I do everything from starting all flowers from seed to creating, managing, designing and styling your special events.

I studied a bachelor of Design (QUT) majoring in Interior Architecture and graduated with honours. I then moved to Sydney and worked as an Interior Designer and in the field of Interior Design for over 10 years. However, for a girl that grew up on a farm, sitting behind a computer screen all day was becoming a bore! So I up and left at the end of 2020 and came back to Gympie with no real plans but to catch up on sleep.

I always loved flowers and spent some time every weekend visiting the flower markets and making my own series of creations at home. The idea came to life in February 2021 and since then it has quite literally been a lot of blood, sweat, tears and beautiful flowers!

You can expect a natural, wild and whimsical floral style from my designs. I love for my arrangements to be free spirited and prefer to work with nature instead of against it. I have a passion for hunting down unusual flowers (and growing them) and am dedicated to following the international greats in order to keep up with trends and the latest techniques.

With an eye for design, detail and a vivid imagination, I have the ability to understand a brief and make your floral dreams come true.
